This weekend I took a visit to the Arundel Wetlands, with my Sony a9ii and Sony 200-600mm G OSS lens, to see what was out and about and if there was any new migratory birds that arrived since my last visit.
As always, there was far too much to see and tough choices on what to upload to this blog entry here on my website. Anyways…. here are a few select photos from my trip!
Common Merganser
Greylag Goose landing on one of the lakes
Nesting Oystercatcher. Nice to see this Migratory Wader back again this year
A Sedge Warbler singing in some trees
Nice photo of a Sedge Warbler in the trees
Gadwell out on one of the lakes
Male and Female Mandarin Ducks
Male Shoveler Duck up on the banks of one of the lakes
Nice close up of a Canada Goose. I had my camera actually on the ground for this and used my foot as an angled rest for the lens!
And finally……
No visit to the Wetlands would be complete without grabbing a few photos of the 4 Dalmatian Pelicans that they have there!
There are 2 girls, Storm and Rogue, and 2 males, Odin and Logan.
Their personalities are so different and can be very entertaining at times to watch them interact with each other.
